For any budding film makers out there, the Limelight Film and Arts Award 2010 is now open for submission. Limelight is the ground breaking annual short film competition, followed by an Oscar style, red carpet awards ceremony held in the Capital, open to all living, working or studying in London. The event is visited by hundreds of film makers, as well as celebrities, distributor’s, funders, and people from the Film and TV industry.

The awards ceremony will see highlights from nominated films and winners from each category.  This provides a unique opportunity for film makers and as the event is televised, we also open the stage for people to perform on the night.

The ‘Film of the Night’ award is £5,000 worth of production hire, covering HD kits, cranes, lighting, sound and Avid post production, thank to Limelight’s sponsors Avid technology.
