what we want!

Wow! What a night! The www! showcase this year, held last Friday 30th April at Oxford House, was such a fantastic evening.

Two hectic days were spent putting up the exhibition by Sally from Futureversity, Lorna and Steph from Oxford House and myself.  Lots of on the spot problem solving put our resourcefulness to the test as we struggled with fishing wire, velcro, drills and ladders!

It was all worth it, with the exhibition getting a phenomenal response and the films going down a storm.  Hamim and Charley did an incredible job hosting the evening, with all the www!ers presenting on their projects to a packed audience. Thanks to the great number of people who helped out on the night to make it such a success.

The night also saw the official launch of the charity rebrand from Tower Hamlets Summer University to Futureversity.  With speeches from Sarah Davies, Chief Executive of Futureversity, Rushanara Ali, Chair of Trustees, and surprise guest Douglas Alexander, Secretary of State for International Development.
