Safeen, Abida and Nadeya went up to the Leeds Young People’s Film Festival on Monday 4th April as their amazing film, ‘Home Sweet Home’ about how war effects young people was up for an award as part of the 8th National Young Filmmakers Award.
Whilst unfortunately they didn’t win, they did meet Noel Goodwin, the Education Programmer at BFI, who praised them on their film.
Well done ladies, I hope you’re very proud of yourselves!

About me
www! is a creative media project which gives 13-19 year olds the opportunity to create a film or photography project about an issue they feel passionate about. Five photography projects and five film projects will receive mentoring, training and funding to help realise their vision.
The films and photos will be on display at a public exhibition at Maverik Showrooms from 23-28 November 2010. For more information, please see our website.
