Limelight Film & Arts Award 2011 - submissions open
The Annual short Film awards that celebrates, promotes and recognises rising and community based film makers, takes place on Thursday the 23rd June 2011. Referred to as the Oscar’s of short films, Limelight, is an annual short film competition followed by a red carpet awards ceremony, attended by over 500 film makers, TV/ Film personalities and high profile organisations.

Limelight Film and Arts Awards is a registered charity to promote and recognise film makers and artists, run and organised by Spotlight UK, a local Digital Video Production agency, in Partnership with Canary Wharf Ltd. Sponsored and supported by many organisations and local businesses.
There are 12 awards categories, including Drama, Comedy, Documentary, with four film nominations per category. Then there is the ‘Film of the Night Award,’ which is £10,000 production award, providing the winner with high end film making facilities for their next production, courtesy of production company Spotlight UK.
