www! film up for an award!
Amazing news just in, ‘Home Sweet Home’, made by Safeen, Abida and Nadeya on the last what we want! programme, is up for an award at the 8th National Young Filmmakers’ Award taking place in April as part of Leeds Young People’s Film Festival.
We’re very excited about this, and very proud of the animation the group made.
The film is a short animation about war from a young person’s perspective, watch it yourself on our YouTube channel.

About me
www! is a creative media project which gives 13-19 year olds the opportunity to create a film or photography project about an issue they feel passionate about. Five photography projects and five film projects will receive mentoring, training and funding to help realise their vision.
The films and photos will be on display at a public exhibition at Maverik Showrooms from 23-28 November 2010. For more information, please see our website.
